Hugh Seidman and Rane Arroyo!
March 5th, 2006 by Jesse Glass

Some good news from Dan Sendecki: the on-line chaps from our friends Hugh Seidman and Rane Arroyo will be going up this weekend and this week, respectively. So wonderful to be able to share their great work with our readers. After April 1st, we will move on book projects with Jerome Rothenberg, Jim Daniels, and Mac Wellman. Jesse

The Daily Yomiuri
March 5th, 2006 by Jesse Glass

Thanks to Mark Austin and the folks at the Daily Yomiuri book page for the great review of The Passion of Phineas Gage & Selected Poems! We also thank David Axelrod for his fine review, which will appear on George Wallace’s Long Island Poetry website. Review copies of Phineas are available from Dan Sendecki at the Ahadada Books/ Canada address. My stock now is exactly one copy.

Taking A Look At Kent Johnson’s Epigrams
March 5th, 2006 by Jesse Glass

I received a pdf file review copy of Kent Johnson’s collection of epigrams on living poets and am taking a look. Kent courts controversy and he apparently is generating quite a stir “on the scene.” I promised to talk it up on this blog and will share my thoughts on the book (available from Blaze Vox as a print on demand volume) in the near future. That will have to wait, however, until I return from Maryland, where I’ll be giving a talk on slavery in Carroll County, and hopefully helping to plan an African-American oral history project for that part of the United States.
