I’ve been taking this unscheduled aural side-trip over and over now for the past couple of weeks, and I can say this is improvisational music at its most challenging. With JoaAnne Pow!ers on sax and cornet, Jennifer Pendur on bass, and Paul Baker on drums, we are led by the very stirrup bones through such tracks as Improvised Explosive Device; Explosive Improvised Device; and Three for Malachi.
