Ahadada Books is pleased to present Don Quixote goes to the Moon by Rane Arroyo.

Don Quxote goes to the Moon is the sixth release in the Ahadada Books Online Chapbook series.

Rane Arroyo is a leading poeta puertorriqueño and playwright who has also found readers and audiences outside of his ethnicity. A first generation Latino born in Chicago, he learned English as much in the world as he did at school. Arroyo received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh where he wrote his dissertation, Babel USA: A Writer of Color Rethinks the Chicago Renaissance.

Some of Arroyo's poems take an autobiographical approach and show how poets have both the luxury and necessity of speaking for those in their lives. Others create personas that take in the American experience from a variety of viewpoints--including gays, who are often marginalized by the larger Latino community.
